Norway Grove has several committees that help guide and manage the life of the church. We invite you to consider sharing your time and talents by volunteering with one of these important groups.
Growth Committee
Norway Grove’s Growth Committee works to expand and strengthen the congregation by welcoming newcomers, encouraging active participation, and fostering deeper connections within the church community. The committee develops outreach efforts, supports visitor follow-up, and creates opportunities for members to grow in faith and service. Its goal is to help the church thrive both in numbers and in spiritual vitality.

Property Committee
Norway Grove’s church Property Committee is responsible for the care, maintenance, and improvement of the church’s buildings and grounds. They oversee repairs, cleaning, safety, and upkeep of facilities, as well as coordinate renovations or upgrades when needed.

Technology Committee
Norway Grove’s Technology Committee supports the congregation by managing and improving technology used for worship, communication, and administration. This includes overseeing audio/visual systems, livestreaming, computers, networks, software, and other digital tools. The committee helps ensure technology runs smoothly, trains volunteers or staff, and explores new solutions to enhance ministry, outreach, and day-to-day operations.

Website Committee
Norway Grove’s Website Committee oversees the planning, design, content, and upkeep of the church’s website to ensure it reflects the congregation’s mission and values. The committee works to keep information accurate and up to date—such as worship times, events, and ministries—while also making the site welcoming and easy to navigate for visitors and members. The committee works with congregational members to post announcements, manage photos or media, and maintain a consistent style. Their goal is to use the website as a tool for communication, outreach, and connection.

Finance Committee
The church finance committee oversees the congregation’s financial health and stewardship. They help develop and monitor the annual budget, review income and expenses, and ensure that funds are used responsibly to support the church’s mission and programs. The committee also provides guidance on long-term financial planning, fundraising, and any major purchases, helping the congregation make informed decisions about resources.

Education Committee
The church education committee plans and supports learning opportunities for all ages, from Jesus and Me (JAM) young children’s classes and confirmation classes to adult Bible studies. They help organize programs, coordinate volunteers, and create experiences that help everyone grow in their faith.
