Celebrating, Comforting, and Connecting Through Cards
Our Greeting Card Ministry is a heartfelt way we share God’s love and care within our congregation. Eleven dedicated members take responsibility for sending handmade cards each month, averaging 20–25 birthday greetings.
In addition, “thinking of you” cards are sent to those who are homebound or who simply need the encouragement of knowing someone is holding them in prayer, reaching an average of 10–15 people each month.
This past year, many of our cards included meaningful quotes from Norway Grove member Naomi Bitter’s poetry book Poetry is a Gentle Dance and other special poems, adding a personal and uplifting touch.
Through this ministry, we bring joy, comfort, and connection to members of our church family.
